This year's Girl's Day event was held online for the first time in our company. This is an event that has been taking place for seven years on the occasion of World Women's Day in IT. Every year, the event is covered by the civic association Aj Ty v IT, whose mission is to increase the interest of girls in the field of information technology.

The aim of the event is to open the gates of IT companies and organizations for students aged 15 to 19 and allow them to look into the world of information technology.  The vision of the Aj Ty v IT is that in the future at least 30 % of girls study at IT faculties, and at least 40 % of women work in IT positions.

LYNX welcomed 8 girls to the online event, who took the time to get new knowledge and information from the field of IT. We introduced the participants to the IT sector, and we also talked about the job opportunities in this sector in various positions. In the second part, the girls ground in with the area of cyber security, we taught them about the possibilities of securing their accounts and we also talked about caution in the digital world.

We thank the organizers for the overall preparation of the event and we believe that the participating girls received new knowledge that will inspire them in their future direction.

We are looking forward to future cooperation with Aj Ty v IT in other interesting projects and joint activities.
