BCP - Business Continuity Planning Department

LYNX has been active in Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery Planning since 1997 and can be considered to be a pioneer in this business. We have chosen Strohl Systems Inc. to be our partner, therefore we use their products and methodology within our activities.

The effort of LYNX is to establish an internal process within our customers, which guarantees the readiness for various disasters. The complex system of the operations includes:

• analysis focused on:

  • requirements for recovery,
  • disaster definition,
  • recovery strategy design,
  
  
• methodical support focused on:
  • methodology design for plans development, testing and update,
  • internal directives design,
  • role establishment for planning process,

  • plan templates development, pilots,
  • mass-rollout support in plans development,
  
  
• education in all planning phases:
  • BCP awareness,
  • methodology familiarization,
  • education related to software tools.

Our activities are provided in order with ISO/IEC 17799, PAS 56 and Professional Practices for Business Continuity Planners standards.
